For Laptops (using the Button)

Check the USB Connection
Make sure the ClickShare Button is firmly plugged into your laptop’s USB port.
Try another USB port if possible.

Wait for the Light
The light ring around the button should flash while connecting.
Solid white = ready to share.
Solid red = sharing active.

Run the ClickShare App
If nothing happens, open “ClickShare” from the USB drive that appears on your laptop.
On Windows, double-click
ClickShare.exe.On Mac, double-click
ClickShare.app.

Update the Button
If the system asks to update the button firmware, let it complete (may take a minute).

Try Restarting
Unplug the button, restart your laptop, and plug it back in.

Check Security Settings
On some laptops, antivirus or firewall settings may block the app. Temporarily allow access if prompted.
For iPads / iPhones (using the app or AirPlay)

Check Wi-Fi
Make sure the iPad is on the same Wi-Fi network as the ClickShare Base Unit.

Use the ClickShare App
Open the app and select the correct room/base unit.
Enter the 4-digit code from the room screen if asked.

AirPlay Connection
Swipe down from the top-right corner, tap Screen Mirroring, and select the ClickShare Base Unit.

Reinstall the App
If the app isn’t working, delete and reinstall it from the App Store.
General Fixes
Check Power: Confirm the ClickShare Base Unit is powered on and connected to the room display.
Reboot the Base Unit: If nothing connects, ask IT/staff to restart the Base Unit (unplug power, wait 10 seconds, plug back in).
Try Another Device: If possible, test with another laptop or iPad to see if the issue is device-specific.

Connecting via PC / Laptop:
· Plug in the ClickShare Button
- Insert the ClickShare USB button into your laptop.
· Wait for the Button to Light Up
- The light around the button will start flashing while it connects.
· Open the ClickShare App (if prompted)
- On most laptops the app will launch automatically.
- If it doesn’t, just open it manually from the ClickShare drive that appears.
· Start Sharing
- Once the button light turns solid white, press it to start sharing your screen.
- The button will glow red while you are sharing.
· Stop Sharing
- To stop, simply press the button again.
Connecting via iPad / iPhone:
· Download the ClickShare App
- Go to the App Store on the iPad.
- Search for “ClickShare” and install the app.
· Connect to the Same Wi-Fi Network
- Make sure the iPad is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the ClickShare Base Unit in the meeting room.
· Open the ClickShare App
- Launch the app on the iPad.
- The app will search for available ClickShare Base Units.
· Select the Room / Device
- Choose the correct meeting room (or base unit name) from the list.
· Enter the Room Code (if prompted)
- A 4-digit code may appear on the meeting room screen.
- Enter this code into the app on your iPad to pair.
· Start Sharing
- You can now share documents, photos, or even your full iPad screen (depending on the setup).

To mirror the entire iPad screen, use AirPlay:
- Swipe down from the top right corner of the iPad to open Control Center.
- Tap Screen Mirroring.
- Select the ClickShare Base Unit.
